Fake romances banned in Big Brother 10

According to Endemol bosses Phil Edgar-Jones and Sharon Powers, Big Brother will crackdown this year on any housemates that attempt a money-spinning "showmance".
"The burden of proof as to whether you are a genuine romance is on the housemates," Powers told DS. "If you are having a fake romance, you will be punished by Big Brother.
"We'll see what happens, but the housemates will know that all romances must be for real."
She added: "After ten years of Big Brother, we are constantly trying to come up with ideas, which will surprise viewers and anyone entering the house."
Powers and Egar-Jones also confirmed that they will mark the show's tenth birthday, which falls on July 14, with events inside the house and on the spinoff shows.
"We will absolutely embrace the anniversary," they said.
