The host spoke to Channel 4 bosses following a number of online petitions and Twitter requests asking for the 24-hour service to return.
Earlier in the week, McCall said that fans should continue to protest and sign petitions, insisting that the broadcaster would listen to all complaints.
"With all this feeling, find a petition and sign it," she said. "C4 will listen to feedback, I'm sure."
However, in a new Twitter post yesterday evening, she revealed that there were currently no plans for the feed to be brought back.
"Spoke to C4 live feed not coming back," she wrote. "But web is putting on 6-10 clips a day and are partnering with [other sites] to bring you more."
Fans on the DS forums have reacted angrily to the latest news on the subject, with forum member Mitacond complaining that Channel 4's stance was "ridiculous" and "utterly unbelievable".
"We don't want clips. What good are clips?" said Koantemplation.
"We want to see the live feed not clips. Clips are a waste of time. If we wanted clips, we'd record them off the live feed and upload them to YouTube."
Another forum user added: "I've just twittered back at [Davina] to say it's not good enough."
