Hughes argued that the Newcastle-born customer service advisor has fooled his rival contestants into thinking that he is destined to win.
"He might be popular with other housemates, as they wrongly think he will win," Hughes told DS. "He is the biggest gameplayer in the house.
"Making it look as if he can’t nominate anybody and he loves them all. Fannying about in the Diary Room, but as soon as Big Brother said he would be up for eviction if he did not nominate, he flooded out Freddie and Marcus.
"He says he hasn't a nasty bone in his body, but what he says and does indicates otherwise... he's definitely the biggest gameplayer in the house."
The 34-year-old added: "I hope people can see through him."
Hughes is currently presenting a regular radio show, which includes guest appearances from former housemates, on Insight Radio between 6-8pm Monday to Friday.
