BB9's Alex in court over knife threat

Alex De Gale waved a knife at two lesbians who mocked her for her time on Big Brother 9, a court has heard.

De Gale, 24, allegedly pulled a six-inch kitchen knife on June Maginnis and Joanne Hillier after they taunted her and stole her mobile phone.

Hillier told the court that she thought Maginnis was going to be stabbed by De Gale, who had gone home to fetch the knife before seeking the pair out. Maginnis and Hillier fled to their car and escaped.

The former reality TV star, who lives in Croydon, denies one count of carrying an offensive weapon in a public place.

Last year, it was reported that she was involved in an unpleasant experience with Big Brother viewers when the words slut and fake were etched into the bonnet of her BMW.
