Speaking on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, McCall said that critics tell her she should work on a different type of programme.
McCall said: "It is a bit of a guilty pleasure. I'm really in the firing line because whenever I go out, if I go out to a posh dinner party, I literally just get abuse from start to finish about presenting Big Brother.
"[They say,] 'Surely you should be presenting something more high-brow or interesting?' and if say 'I really find it interesting, I'm sorry', people are so snobby about it. It's just an entertainment programme."
She added that she is still in touch with BB1's Anna Nolan, describing the former housemate as the only contestant she immediately wanted to be friends with during her ten years on the show.
