As the housemates sunbathed in the garden, Charlie said: "I'll be at the dining table, and you go from the bedroom to the kitchen and instead of just walking past and looking you walk past and go, 'Hi'. I just don't acknowledge them."
Karly suggested that it was because Freddie wanted to be part of the group, explaining: "If you say 'hi' to a person and they say 'hi' back then you've been accepted."
Charlie agreed, and Freddie tried to explain using an analogy about computers. However, he soon gave up and admitted: "Yeah, I guess it's an acceptance thing. It's like taking a snapshot, ooh, you're there. It's a habit, pretty much."
Charlie complained that if he was at the dining room table, Freddie would go from the bedroom to the kitchen saying 'hi', and would then repeat the greeting on his way back.
"I live in the now," Freddie revealed. "I've forgotten that I just said 'hi' to you. I live very now, especially in this place. I live very now."
Angel previously remarked that Freddie's habit of saying 'hello' a lot was "strange".
