Talking in the bathroom, the Oxford graduate said to the Brazilian: "You know like good days and bad days? Like, the bad days are like often a like kind of... er. It's like your brain and body is adapting to new levels of the situation. "
He continued: "So it's like, it will turn into good days again as like you sort of see it in more detail and get used to stuff. Like, it's funny, I don't know, it's random thoughts and feelings I've had."
Freddie went on: "I think as long as you always feel like you're kind of on a path to something, like path to better understanding of yourself and better understanding of people, then a bad day is not a bad day. Yeah? I think."
He added: "Not saying read too much into it though. You shouldn't read too much into it either because it's mainly your subconscious mind that's doing all the adjusting, not like your thoughts. It's like your body is adjusting, you know? You're not conscious of it most of the time."
Rodrigo, who was sitting in the bath, replied: "All the week I was feeling better and better and better and better. More relax in the house, you understand? More free in the house and blah, blah, blah - and then yesterday, because it started everything again, all the argue again, then anything is a reason for..."
"For an argument," Freddie concluded.
"No, no, for to feel strange," Rodrigo explained.
"Anything is a reason to feel strange. Yes! I know what you mean. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hmm. Hmm," Freddie pondered.
