158.5 - The number of housemates across the ten series
With the fifteen entrants this year (Beinazir didn't make it to full housemate status, remember!), the all-time contestant tally has reached an impressive 158! Jonathan from the House Next Door in Big Brother 7 provides the .5, as he never entered the proper house. We also haven't included visitors such as Pauline/Thaila in Big Brother 8 and Uganda's Gaetano Kagwa from Big Brother 4, because, well, they don't really count!
63 - Chanelle Hayes's chart peak with 'I Want It'
Chanelle has remained in the public eye since Big Brother 8 ended thanks to her pert bottom and great skill in stripping off to her undies for smutty lads' mags. However, her attempts at a pop career to rival her idol Victoria Beckham flopped. Her trashy dance-pop release slumped to number 63, which was higher than Nichola 'BB1' Holt's 'The Game', but less successful than Samanda's excruciating 'Barbie Girl' cover.
75 - The number of workmen it took to build the original house
It took 131 days to build the first house in Bow, East London. There was 20km of cable, 57 mirrors, 33 cameras and 50 microphones. It took only a week for the ten housemates to ruin their hardwork in the infamous clay-pottery task.
5 - The number of years the longest ever Big Brother romance lasted
Big Brother 2 couple Helen Adams and Paul Clarke proved that romance could blossom within the show, but sadly like every other couple in the show's history, they eventually called it a day after half a decade together. They lasted longer than Kemal & Kinga (BB6), Maxwell & Saskia (BB6), Jen & Dale (BB9) and even Claire & Tom (BB1), but Paul confirmed in 2006 that they just weren't in love any more. We're now pinning our hopes on Luke & Bex (BB9), who are the only showmance still going strong.
893,500 - The amount of prize money handed out over ten years
This includes the £100,000 given to Liam in Big Brother 8 and £50,000 split between Lisa and Sara in Big Brother 9. The original prize money for the first four years was only £70,000, but it climbed to £100,000 in the fifth year. Sadly for the series five winner Nadia, the winnings were dramatically reduced to £63,500 following Kitten's refusal to leave the house.
94.04 - The biggest eviction percentage
Big Brother 9's Nicole may not not have been the biggest villain in Big Brother history, but she managed to top the lot when it came down to her eviction. Up against Sara and Lisa, she ended up with a mighty 94.04% of the vote on Day 79. It's unlikely to ever be beaten, although Sophia gave it a good go earlier this year.
6 - The most survived evictions
Richard from Big Brother 7 can stand proud as the greatest Big Brother survivor. He received 25 nominations during his stay and, despite being up for the public vote six times during his stint, he still managed to make it all the way to the final. Big Brother 9's Rex got more nominations and Big Brother 10's Freddie (Halfwit) is looking on course to top the lot, but for now, Dickie remains the most enduring survivor of the bunch.
