'Chicken' Marcus dreams about fighting

The carpenter from Brentford told housemate Noirin that he has normally been "put up" to it when he dreams about fighting.
"I don't know if that's something to do with Lisa calling me a chicken yesterday," he suggested.
Although Marcus's comment had not been directed at her, Noirin said: "I didn't call you a chicken so you better get that straight.
"There's a difference between someone calling you a chicken and saying 'Oh, I thought you were going to chicken out'."
However, Marcus, 35, was not convinced, saying: "It means if you don't do something then you are a chicken."
Noirin replied: "But you've chickened out of a few things before."
When pressed to give Marcus examples, the retail manager declined to elaborate.
