They came number one in a poll on the official website, with viewers commenting that their romance was the most "genuine".
The pair met on the show in 2001, moved in together after their time in the house and remained a couple for five years.
"They were so innocent, not seedy," one view said, adding: "They didn't even kiss in the house... it was a proper romance."
Series nine couple Luke and Bex came second. "Obviously opposites do attract," one fan commented of the pair, who are reportedly still together.
Meanwhile, series seven couple Pete and Nikki were third in the poll, although one viewer described them as "false" and only together for "magazine deals".
Another fan disagreed, describing them as "cute and caring".
