Marcus goes on date with Noirin

Noirin and Marcus have enjoyed a romantic date together.

As part of Big Brother's birthday celebrations, each housemate was told that they would be allowed one special treat. After a long deliberation, Marcus opted for a date with Noirin - but only if she agreed to come along.

Earlier this afternoon, Marcus and Noirin were called to the Diary Room. Upon entering, Noirin found a single red rose resting on the chair.

Sitting on Marcus's knee she was informed of his request and burst out laughing before hugging him, saying that it was a "cute" gesture.

Big Brother then told the pair that there was a secret task room waiting for them with a romantic setting.

Upon entering, the two found a rose, champagne and a menu that consisted of oysters, spaghetti and meatballs, and strawberries accompanied by dipping chocolate.

During the date, they discussed how oysters are meant to induce sex, while Marcus asked if he would be receiving lots of hugs and kisses as a reward for setting up the rendezvous.

Noirin replied: "Lots of hugs, yeah."
