Tom: 'Get a grip, Marcus'

Marcus received some blunt truths from Tom last night, during which he was told to "get a grip" over his persistent pursuit of Noirin.

Marcus reacted badly to Tom's advice, which later prompted a rant from Marcus to various other housemates.

The pair were sitting in the garden, where Tom was serving a sentence in jail, when he decided to bring up the subject of Noirin.

The Dubliner has already dampened Marcus's opinion of the new housemate following rumours of flirting between the two.

Tom told Marcus: "You've got to appreciate what a friend is. You've got to accept she told you 'no'."

This didn't sit well with Marcus, who was adamant that he didn't fancy Noirin. "Bullshit," responded Tom, continuing: "So if she said get jiggy you wouldn't?"

Marcus admitted he would, but told the yacht importer that Noirin was "trouble".

Tom replied: "Be a friend or don't be a friend. Don't start slagging her.

"Do you not think it's weird to still be chasing someone? That's just being a pervy weirdo," he continued.

The discussion then became rather heated, with Tom telling Marcus: "Dude, get a grip, how fucking old are you?" when Marcus defended that he could sit around the house doing nothing or that he could "chase a pretty girl".

"I came out here to see if you're alright before you turned it into an agenda. You need to learn that in this house you ain't all that and a bag of potato chips," Marcus said.

Tom then rolled over and told him that he wasn't going to listen to "riddles" and needed to get some sleep, as Marcus stormed into the house to rant to Charlie, Siavash, Freddie, Bea and Noirin.
