Speaking to Bea in the bedroom, he expressed his frustration at the way he, Freddie and Siavash had been spoken to after they broke out of jail, complaining that it was too hot for them to sit in the direct sunlight.
Freddie then began swearing at Big Brother when they were asked to put more clothes on to protect their skin.
This, along with other "disregard for the rules", meant that housemates were later ordered to return their luxury shopping as punishment.
Marcus defended their actions, stating that sending them to jail on a hot day was a "completely moronic" punishment.
"They were being complete arseholes... and they knew it as well. The worst they've ever been," he told Bea.
"That woman in there was talking to us like we were fucking idiots. [Freddie] was perfectly entitled to make those comments," he said.
Marcus was attempting to reason with the bohemian after she and Freddie fell out as a result of his swearing, for which she called him "a rebel without a cause".
"There was reason to come out swearing," Marcus said of Freddie, adding: "That woman in there was being a proper prat. It was the work of children."
Bea and Freddie later had another argument in bed about the way they had spoken to each other during the earlier row, which kept their fellow housemates awake into the early hours.
