As the pair talked by the pool, Charlie revealed that he did not want the window fitter to leave.
"I know you want to go," he added. "That's why I didn't want to nominate you, but I felt I should."
He admitted that he had considered nominating Siavash, but had changed his mind.
"If I'd done Siavash I would have felt a bit two-faced," he explained. "I didn't really have a reason. I wasn't sure what people had done, I wasn't really listening. I didn't want to talk to anyone, I didn't want to influence them."
Marcus worried that the public may keep him in the house, and confessed that he was thinking of sitting in the corner all week.
"If I argue, people might like that," he pointed out. "If I'm just happy, people might like that."
"Don't be daft," Charlie replied. "Just be yourself. Just don't go on about it and be yourself. Interact with people and see what goes on."
He continued: "I think Freddie will be fine. I really do."
