Freddie evicted!

Freddie has become the ninth official housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

The 23-year-old, who had a blue cat painted on his face for the occasion, lost out to Marcus in the public vote.

Upon hearing the news, he said: "Oh wow." He then hugged the group goodbye and apologised to Marcus, who has frequently expressed his desire to be evicted.

As he left the sitting room, the Oxford graduate told the housemates that he had an "incredible" experience, before adding: "Rock 'n' roll."

The crowd cheered as he greeted the public, shouting: "Hello, nice to meet you!"

This week's eviction is the first ever to be influenced by tactical voting, after Big Brother decided to allow housemates to discuss nominations.

Freddie is the ninth contestant with full housemate status to be evicted after Hira lost out to all the other housemates last week. Noirin, Karly, Kris, Sree, Angel, Sophia and Cairon were evicted in the preceding weeks, while Saffia, Kenneth, Tom and Isaac walked out, and Beinazir was evicted after failing to gain housemate status.
