The Oxford graduate said that the experience of being voted off was surreal but he revealed that he is "very happy" to be out.
He remarked: "I feel great. It's like waking up from a dream into another dream still... There are so many people!"
He then admitted that he couldn't understand the bad feelings he received from the housemates at the beginning of the show.
"It was extremely intense. I just didn't understand it, it was very negative," he said, adding: "As the show went on I think I was a good sport about it."
Freddie also refuted accusations from the audience that he became "cocky" after surviving numerous evictions, and said that he had proved himself as a good political candidate.
"I think I put myself out there. I didn't hide... warts and all," he explained.
The 23-year-old described his time in the house as "the hardest thing I've ever done... the emotions got so high, so indescribably high".
Freddie dismissed the lack of food as being a problem, instead citing his fellow housemates as the most difficult thing to deal with.
"It was all about the people for me; the social dynamics. The hardest thing was being an outsider... The best things about the house were the good experiences I shared and the wonderful moments," he concluded.
