Housemates had earlier received personal holograms from their loved ones. When Bea expressed her upset that she had not received a message from her mother, only an old friend, some of the housemates began to mock her tantrum.
Bea got more and more upset as Rodrigo continued to laugh, and the dispute carried on well into the evening.
Crying to Sophie and Charlie, she asked them: "Would you argue with me right now? In my mind I've seen a different side to [Rodrigo] tonight."
"Nobody knows other people's families. But I would not laugh if someone was getting upset," she added.
Rodrigo was less affected by the argument, but continued to discuss it with various housemates throughout the evening.
"If I could I would hold my laughter," he told Marcus. "But I couldn't." He later joked to David that he needs to see a therapist about his uncontrollable laughter.
As David tried to defend Bea, Rodrigo maintained: "She's not any angel. Yesterday, all the drama."
"You've got to consider her feelings, it's not nice," replied David. "It's not the right time to laugh."
Bea later stated that she wanted to leave the house to see her mum, but seemed happier after talking with Marcus and Charlie.
