He spoke about his newfound friendship with Bea after fighting during their first few weeks together.
"I feel a lot closer to Bea," he said yesterday in the Diary Room. "When I look back on how we reacted to each other before it's quite pathetic actually. I've got a lot of time for her.
"Since Freddie's been evicted, I think it's given her confidence. It's almost like she's coming out of her shell. It were almost as if he were pulling her down. She's been a lot more fun, being enthusiastic, having a laugh."
David added that he has forgiven her for previously badmouthing him, saying: "She said to me she said some stuff she feels guilty about in the Diary Room, but I'm not going to hold that against her. We've moved on a hell of a lot.
"She's a lovely girl. I'm not going to slag her off anymore."
