Freddie: 'No ill feeling towards Bea'

Rex Features

Evicted Big Brother housemate Freddie has insisted that he has no bad feelings towards Bea.

Freddie, who was voted off the show on Friday, claimed that the programme brought the worst out of all the housemates, including himself, and that he will meet up for a chat with Bea after it ends.

The Oxford graduate said that he would prefer to remember the happy times he spent with the 24-year-old than his final weeks of squabbling.

"I feel really sad because at the start we used to spread peace, love and happiness," he told DS.

"The problem is that I think inside the Big Brother house, if someone has a little bit of an ego, or someone is a little bit nasty, it gets really, really amplified. If someone is a little domineering, the same thing happens. It brings out the worst in people and it brought out the worst in me in many ways."

He added: "Honestly, that whole Bea thing made me really sad rather than angry. It was a missed opportunity for so much positivity. I'll have a good chat with her when she leaves and there's no ill-will on my side. It's a gameshow, it's not real."

When asked whether he can understand the public's negative reactions to Bea, he said: "I'm a very forgiving person and I guess the British public are not. The house has brought out the worst in her and I just try to remember the really positive times we had in there together.

"I don't think there was a gameplan, I just think all the negativity she had was projected on to me."
