The pair had just got into bed and were talking about their personalities.
David told Lisa: "I know a lot of lesbians, but I've never met anyone as in touch with their sexuality then you are.
"You're more proud. You were born to be gay," he added.
Lisa responded frankly: "It's because I love women. They turn me on."
As Lisa revealed that she flirts with women all the time, even in the supermarket, David said: "It's harder for guys, if you talk to a straight man they'll punch you in the head."
"I feel more confident in gay bars. I'll flirt with 30 or 40 of them," he continued.
Lisa then considered why she is so open about being a lesbian.
"I came out in the '80s and it was really closed... but it's me and I've got to live it," she told the eBay retailer.
David agreed that it's "a lot easier to come out now than it used to be", while Lisa told him that the way to somebody's heart was to "make them laugh".
The pair then went on to discuss Lisa's ex-girlfriend, with whom she has frequently admitted she's still in love.
"She is loving but she plays it right. I've had girls drop at my feet and she don't do that," she told David.
He advised: "Wait and see what happens."
