He said that it felt "amazing" to know that he would be in the Big Brother house at least until this Friday and that it was a sign that viewers want him in the house.
However, he insisted that he still does not believe he will win, telling Lisa that she has his backing in the long run.
"I will be rooting for you. I'm sorted that I got to come in," he said.
Lisa replied that if David leaves first he should ask Davina to wear a nice short black dress for her eviction.
"Tell her we're the same age and have lots of things in common," she said.
