Marcus refuses to cut off ponytail

Marcus has refused to cut off his ponytail, even though it would win the group £15,000 for the prize fund.

In the wake of Big Brother's decision to withdraw this year's prize money, each housemate is being asked to sacrifice something personal to add money back into the fund.

Siavash agreed to give up all his clothes and accessories, but Marcus was less forthcoming.

Big Brother called Marcus into the Diary Room and offered him money in exchange for chopping off his ponytail.

At first he was offered £10,000, but Marcus replied by telling Big Brother to "fuck off".

Big Brother politely enquired as to whether that was his final answer.

"Yes, cram it up your scabby, fat arse!" he shouted back.

Marcus was then offered £11,000, £13,000 and finally £15,000 to go through with the act, but he replied that he would only consider it for £1,000,000 and a German sports car.
