Davina McCall has jokingly revealed that she intends to audition as a contestant for next year's Big Brother.

Shortly after Channel 4's announcement that 2010's series will be its last with the broadcaster, the presenter expressed her sincere upset.

Writing on her Twitter page, she stated: "Well next year we may as well go out with a bang. Think I'll audition. Yes please!"
