Housemates divided on whether to sleep

The housemates were divided yesterday as they debated whether or not to stay up for their last night in the house.

Sophie, Siavash and Rodrigo agreed that they needed their sleep, but Charlie and David were too excited to settle down.

"Surely you ought to go out with a bang?" David pointed out, but Sophie joked: "I will go out with a bang. I'll go out and murder you all. I'll get carried out by police officers."

The model reminded the group that the sooner they went to sleep, the sooner the final would come around. Meanwhile, Rodrigo laughed that he was looking forward to locking himself in his hotel room to get some peace and quiet.

However, David and Charlie were determined to keep the group awake. David screamed and loudly impersonated Davina, while Charlie ran around the room singing and banging a makeshift gong.

"If I can't sleep, nobody can sleep," David announced, while Charlie agreed: "You lot keep saying the bedroom's for sleeping. Well, life is for living."

"You can live life in the living room," Sophie pointed out wearily. "That's why it's called the living room," Siavash added.

However, the contestants eventually settled down to sleep for the final time in the house.
