The former Mr Gay UK contestant left the compound to a largely positive reception and presented Davina with a rose as he met her.
The pair then sat down to discuss his time on the show.
The highlights of Charlie's interview:
On reaching the final but not winning: "I've already won, I've got on the show."
On if he ever thought he would win: "No, never. I thought I was going to go in week five and Kris went. I thought, 'That's it for me, I'm gone'."
On 'that kiss' with Rodrigo: "We're just friends."
Charlie then kissed Davina's hand in imitation of what he was doing to his own hand under the duvet.
"Davina, it'll be turning you on," he laughed, adding: "[Rodrigo's] just a friend, just a mate... I wouldn't have a romance in the house."
On his mum, who has suffered an aneurysm: "She knew I wanted to do this and I didn't think I would get on [the show]. I know she's responding better and she'll be so proud of us. I know it's because of this experience and I thank you for that."
On who he wants to win: "I want Sophie to win, Sophie or David. I love her, she's so lovely, I love Sophie."
