The Iranian-born events organiser revealed that he has not spoken to his dad in the last five years and admitted that he was disappointed to not receive a message from him in the house.
"My father and me, we have not spoken for the last five years... we have had a difficult relationship," he told DS. "I don't know, I thought Big Brother would help sort that out. I hoped that when we got a message I would get one from my dad.
"I can't change the person that I am - I have tried - and he is not really happy with that. I would like to take this opportunity to say sorry and hope that we can build a bridge."
He added: "I don't know what I was thinking, because if I haven't made it worse, I definitely haven't made it better. I was just hoping that he would see me for the person that I am and the decisions that I made with not nominating."
Siavash finished runner-up in last night's live final, losing out to glamour model Sophie Reade.
