The 31-year-old, who made offensive statements about people with autism when he was on the CBS show's ninth season, has been charged with attempting to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills, The AP reports.
Jasinski told DEA agent Todd Prough that he used his $500,000 (£300,954) prize money from the reality series to purchase thousands of the prescription drugs in order to resell them on. Prough said in an affidavit that the former contestant sold them while travelling the East Coast during recent months.
He was arrested on Saturday after flying from Florida to Boston and showed a government witness a sock that contained two plastic bags of the pills. He is said to have then struggled with arresting officers and threw the sock under a car parked nearby.
Jasinki's lawyer did not comment on the matter. Her client faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and may also be fined $1m (£601,474) for the possession charge.
