Davina: 'I can never predict BB winner'

Davina McCall has admitted that she is "absolutely rubbish" at guessing the winner for each year of Big Brother.

The presenter, who revealed that the fifth series was her favourite, conceded that she only ever correctly predicted seventh victor Pete Bennett.

Speaking to TV Times, she said: "No! I'm absolutely rubbish at pointing out winners. The only one I've got right is series seven winner Pete Bennett, but the rest of the years I've got completely wrong.

"I make all these massive, sweeping judgements about people when they walk in, which then get thrown out of the window. The best thing that this programme can teach any of us is that you cannot judge a book by its cover."

Big Brother launches this Wednesday from 9pm on Channel 4.
