In a conversation with Josie, Govan revealed that he is straight and expects a rough time when he returns back to Leicester following his dishonesty.
Outside in the smoking area, Govan said: "I said to them I was bi and it's not true. I could never [have intercourse] with a boy."
Josie told Govan not to worry and explained that a number of people have lied in the past in order to win a place on the show.
Later however, after getting up out of bed, Govan made his way to the snug, lay down inside and cried, protecting his tears with a pair of sunglasses.
Realising Govan had not returned to bed, Josie joined the 21-year-old in the snug and comforted him. Govan said the pressure in the house was getting to him and that his earlier argument with Dave had affected him.
Josie reacted by telling Govan that Dave was in the wrong, commenting that the Christian minister should have known better because he is older and a "holy man".
