After admitting earlier that she was feeling "hurt" over her recent conflicts with John James, Rachael told Josie and Shabby in the bedroom that she is still attracted to him.
"I really wish that me and John James could just get on. I’ve said in the Diary Room that I fancy him and I really like him," she said. She added that she felt "awkward" around John James because of their disagreement yesterday.
Josie responded: "I’ve never known someone to dislike someone and go on about it so much. I think it’s just sexual tension." With Rachael still unsure about John James’s real feelings, Josie likened the situation to a typical love-hate relationship in the school playground.
With Shabby also present in the bedroom, attention turned to her affection for Caoimhe.
"I really fancy Caoimhe," she said. "It‘s not just because we are in the house, I genuinely like her. She’s just wicked."
"Would you tell her if she didn’t have a boyfriend?" asked Rachael, to which Shabby replied: "Yes."
The subject quickly changed when Caoimhe and Ife entered the bedroom, although Shabby admitted that she is unlikely to still have her girlfriend when she leaves the house.
