John to Josie: 'You almost made me quit'

John James has confessed to Josie that he was on the verge of walking out of the house after their argument yesterday.

The 24-year-old Australian made the revelation after he suggested to Josie that she was too proud to admit to having her heart broken in the past.

"You don’t want to admit it, you don’t want to give me the satisfaction because you're too stubborn and too arrogant," he teased. "Am I right?"

John James said that he had less pride after being filmed crying in the aftermath of his fight with Josie. He then stated his belief that Josie would not come to him if she ever became upset during her time in the house.

She replied: "The only time in here I've been upset is when I had that argument with you and I'm not gonna come to you then, am I?

"That little outburst and the fact you had a little cry might have given you a little lesson; that you can't lose your temper."

Josie then said sarcastically that she wouldn't care if John packed his bags and left the house, causing him to reveal that he would have quit had the pair not managed to patch things up.

"I said to Big Brother if she hasn’t sorted it out in 10 minutes… I’ll come back in here with my stuff," he said.

"I was serious… you had to give me something. If you were willing to just walk away and ignore me, I was walking."

He added that their fallout effected him so much because he considers Josie to be one of his few "legit" friends in the house. He declared that other housemates claiming to be his friends were being "sneaky" and deceiving him by warning him not to trust certain people.

During the heart-to-heart, John James also informed Josie that he thought she had been too "nasty" to him during their fight, prompting her to warm him: "We're going to have another row in a minute." In return, she told him that having a conversation with him was "draining".
