Earlier this week, housemates were told that although they successfully completed the shopping budget task, they would receive basic rations until further notice as a punishment for persistent rule breaking.
Several of the group have complained about the lack of food, with some saying that they would walk if the punishment continued much longer.
As they continued to protest about food this evening, Big Brother called the housemates to the seating area.
Big Brother began by reminding the contestants of the reasons for the punishment. He continued: "Big Brother hopes that the housemates have learnt their lesson, and warns that in future the punishment will be worse."
Big Brother then announced that the punishment had ended and that a pizza delivery had arrived in the storeroom. In addition, the housemates will now receive an economy shopping delivery for the remainder of the week.
The news was welcomed with squeals and cheers as the housemates ran to the storeroom. While they dished out the food, including a cheese-free pizza for Sunshine, they all commented on how excited they were.
Corin shouted: "Thank you, Big Brother!" and the other housemates shouted in agreement. She then added: "We'll never be ungrateful again."
