Josie tries to ditch thumb sucking habit

Josie has decided to give up sucking her thumb, with the help of a medical aid from Big Brother.

This evening, the Bristolian was given what appeared to be a nasty-tasting ointment to apply to her thumbs before bed, in a bid to stop the bad habit she's had "for 25 years".

"Things need to come to an end... I've been sucking it 24/7 in here," she told Ben and Caoimhe, explaining that in her real life she has to go to work and see friends, leaving her with less time to indulge her trait.

However, during a chat with Nathan later on, it seemed that Josie had changed her mind.

"I could possibly turn into a right cow, because that's my form of security," she complained.

The Yorkshireman attempted to give her a pep talk but she replied: "I don't feel ready yet though... honestly, I don't think I'm ready."

"Sucking my thumbs to me is like smoking to you," she continued. "This is hard. I've got no willpower at all. None. So if I can do this, I can do anything."
