Josie: 'I'm giving up sucking my thumb'

Josie has been trying to give up sucking her thumb.

Big Brother has given her a product designed to help stop thumb sucking. This afternoon, she lay in the garden with Ben discussing her habit.

Ben picked up the product and asked her: “Did they give this to you?”

“Yeah, I’m gonna give it another go,” she replied.

Ben told her that if she wants to quit then she should, but reassured her that he didn’t think sucking her thumb made her look odd.

“I think it might look a bit strange,” she told him. “It’s a hard thing to give up. You don’t know you’re doing it.”

Josie’s attempt at giving up didn’t last though. Later she complained of feeling drained, and went into the nest alone and sucked her thumb.
