John James to Josie: 'You've changed me'

John James credited his friend Josie with "changing" him this evening, during a frank discussion in the nest.

After the Bristolian explained that she still can't get over how nice John James was in the wake of her admission that she had "strong feelings" for him, he admitted that he was baffled by her comments as there was no other way for him to approach the situation.

When Josie replied that he could well have told her she was a "stupid cow" for falling for him, he laughed and asked her: "What sort of people do you hang around with?!"

He continued: "You've changed me in a way because you've made me, like... I don't know. It feels good to care about someone rather than just caring about the programme and stepping over people to get as far as possible... it's made me care about something more."

"It's lovely to be cared about," replied Josie, clearly flattered by his opinion of their friendship.

"I was going to do all I could do to make sure our relationship didn't change," he added. "They can evict me... but at the end of the day they can't take your friendships away. So why worry about the little things? The little things are the programme. The big thing is your friendship."

Giggling, Josie joked: "Well thank you for that. Why couldn't you be like that from the beginning?"
