Chatting over dinner, David asked Corin if she was "buzzing" about her duet with Andrew. She replied: "Yeah, but I'm nervous though. But not as nervous as I would be if I was waiting for eviction." Mario commented: "This is probably the only Friday night we'll be able to enjoy."

Talking about Andrew Stone's actions in the house, Ben said: "He always had that little ear piece in. He didn't breathe without that little ear piece!" He explained: "I'm being trained by the Baron in the art of investigation, I was watching him like a hawk."

Rachel pressed Mario for information about his 'secret'. She asked: "If we knew about it, are you worried that we would look at you in a different light?" Mario told her: "I've told you, there's nothing to it! Sometimes one plus one can make three." Rachel then said that she thinks he is an entrepreneur.

Ben and Corin spent part of the evening playfighting as they cleaned the kitchen. Heading to the fridge, Ben asked Corin is she wanted some cookie. She replied: "I do, I really do, but I can't because I don't know whose it is." Ben said that he would blame it on himself, as he snapped some off and put it down her cleavage.

As Mario entered the kitchen in his glasses and red ruffled shirt, he asked Corin: "Do I look like Johnny Depp?" Ben quipped: "More like Louis Theroux."

John James and David discussed next week's nominations. John James asked: "Do you think there's any stand-outs [for nominations] next week?" David said no. John James agreed, adding: "I think it could be a mixed bag."

Rachel and Josie lamented the house's "flat" atmosphere tonight. However, Josie commented: "Sometimes you need your lows in here."

Andrew told Mario about a fake romantic meal he had with a male friend on Valentine's Day last year, and that some other customers were visibly offended. Mario said that he had not come out to his whole family before the show, as homosexuality is "an alien concept" to them. Andrew said that his father and grandmother think he is gay, with his father going so far as to ask his brother about it.

Mario and Corin discussed their recent friendship, and agreed that they had barely spoken in the early weeks of the show. Mario suggested that Nathan's eviction had brought them closer together. "Isn't it strange where friendships come from in here?" Corin said. "I'm so happy though."

John James and Josie talked about their fathers, with Josie admitting that she does not think of hers all the time. John James said that he thinks of his dad every day, and that it was a shame they had only just started having a better relationship in the months before he died. Explaining that he often fought with his father, John James said: "It's awful to say in a way, but he was jealous of mine and my mum's relationship."

As Mario, David and Josie sat at the carousel shortly before heading to bed, John James paddled in the pool alone, imitating a Hollywood-style voiceover, saying: "One man, alone in a house... With Bobby Righter, who does absolutely fuck all... A bird who has spoken once in 45 days... And a Diary Room that never opens." David shouts over and asks what he's saying. John James replied: "I'm just talking to myself." David responded: "Thought you'd cracked on us."
