Big Brother has cooled any suspicions of a surprise eviction surrounding the house, following on from Andrew's 'Jack Bauer' task earlier today.

During the task, Andrew was told by the Tree of Temptation to say that there was a secret house, and that five new housemates will be replacing five current housemates.

Housemates also said that they heard chants of "Shabby" outside the house, as well as general crowd noise and the Big Brother theme tune. Rachel said: "There's definitely an eviction going on now then."

Mario and others also started to get changed for a potential surprise eviction. JJ believed that the three new housemates had been up for eviction since Friday, and one will be leaving tonight.

Steve, John James and Mario also seemed to spark conspiracy theories that there is "a rogue agent" in the house, and that Big Brother had told them something that they were not allowed to divulge to others.

Moments after John James and Dave had challenged Ben over him not standing up earlier in Andrew's task, Big Brother made an announcement.

He said: "Big Brother is aware that the Tree of Temptation has been meddling with house affairs. Big Brother would like to state categorically that there is no separate house, no other housemates and no eviction will take place. Big Brother suggests that housemates relax and get on with their lives."

Ben clapped, saying, "Thank you for that one, BB." A frustrated Dave said: "I think that was a waste of time. What was the point of that?"
