This afternoon, JJ and Jo were called to nominate for the first time since entering the house. Having completed the process, JJ spoke to John in the hut.
While JJ admitted that it was hard to choose people he wanted to evict, he accepted it was part of the Big Brother experience. "I think you just have to accept this is part of the game that we have come to play," he said.
John James explained that sometimes small traits that certain people had led him to nominate them, even though he still generally liked them: "They've just got something that you dislike, but you might still like them."
The Australian went on to sympathise with JJ's first nomination experience. "I can imagine how hard it must be for you because you've just come in here," he stated.
JJ admitted that it was difficult, but he knew it was something he was going to have to do: "I was fully prepared to do it."
John James then asked him if he thought he would be up for eviction. JJ said that he was sure he would be, but John James disagreed, saying that would be "the shock of the series".
"Being a new guy and that, you've got to expect it. No one seems to have a major reason for anyone," JJ explained.
"You have only been in here a short amount of time, I'd be very surprised," John James replied.
