After hearing the news, Sam was the first to question JJ's motives for the sleeping arrangement, especially after being told by David that Corin was attracted to the professional boxer.
"I wouldn’t mind sharing a bed with her for the night but I wouldn’t mind sharing a bed with you for the night if you asked me. Don’t go making something it's not," JJ told him.
Later when Corin explained that the two were sharing because everyone else who isn't married has a bed partner she was met with jeers from the rest of the group
"JJ, I'm not sharing now," she declared, as the rest of housemates went: "Ahhh."
However Corin later told JJ: "I wanna share, I haven't had a cuddle in two months."
"That’s okay, I'm good at cuddling," he replied.
As Sam joked that Josie and John James now had competition. JJ argued with the graffiti artist by pointing out that it had taken him 11 days to share a bed with Corin, while Sam and Rachel were sharing on the 21-year-old's first night.
Speaking after the lights went out he reassured Corin: "I feel fine, I don’t see it as a big deal."
However, despite protests from Corin that she wasn't bothered, she repeatedly told him that she felt "embarrassed" as they whispered in bed.
Speaking about how she normally gets up early to put her make up on, she added: "I will try to get up and get ready then go back to bed but if I wake up at the alarm don’t fucking look."
As JJ laughed at the comment, Corin reminded him that she wasn't joking.
