Josie: 'Sam just wants a bit of airtime'

Some of the housemates have expressed frustration with Sam after he sparked a row earlier today over the use of tokens for smoking.

Corin and Josie were particularly annoyed after he accused them of receiving preferential treatment by having a separate set of tokens as a luxury the non-smokers in the house did not get.

"He's just winding me up," Corin told the others later. "He's making this an issue when yesterday it was fine!"

Rachel agreed with Corin, asking, "Why are we getting our heads ripped off by Sam Pepper?"

Rachel then confronted Sam over the way he had approached the situation, suggesting that he hadn't needed to demonise the smokers in the house or shout at them the way he had done.

"There was no need to raise your voice," Andrew warned Sam.

Josie also took offence to Sam's comments, claiming that he had intentionally started the argument.

"He just wants a bit of airtime, I can see the way he's working now," she told Steve in the garden.

Steve, David and Rachel later discussed their newest housemate, all agreeing that although he could be decent sometimes, he had probably been put into the house by Big Brother to cause trouble.
