After being woken up by the song 'Crazy Horses' this morning, the group pondered what today's task could be - especially as John James had noticed a sign reading 'Pastures New' on the store room door.
"I think we're all going to be farmers and you can be lead farmer 'cos obviously you come from a farm," Mario told Josie, adding: "Maybe we're animals today... I hope I'm not a dolphin."
"It won't be a four day [task], it will be a three day to leave Friday open for the double [eviction]," JJ added.
However, while most housemates believed that they would receive a farmyard-themed task, Steve noted that 'Pastures New' could refer to "moving on" - leading Jo to consider that there could be a snap eviction this morning.
"A morning eviction, it's possible, a possibility," JJ said when she discussed it with him.
However, Big Brother soon asked all the housemates to gather on the sofa, saying: "Would one housemate go to the garden, put on the gloves and dig out instructions for today."
After Sam did this and returned with instructions, he read out: "For this weeks shopping task housemates will become 'horse-mates as they bid to become the Big Brother 11 pantomime horse of the year.
"Housemates will pair off and become pantomime horses, competing in a series of events. Two housemates will become trainers and be responsible for breaking the horse-mates in."
Sam also read out that the winning 'horse-mate' pair at the end of the competitions will have the opportunity to win £500 towards next week's shopping budget. Big Brother had also recommended that Steve be one of the horse trainers.
"Horse-mates must obey the trainers at all times," Sam added.
