Speaking in the bedroom, Steve, David and Corin discussed tonight's forthcoming eviction show, where they expect several of the group to be leaving them.
"I'm shitting it, I am," Steve began. "I'm just nervous. I haven't got a problem 'cause if I go out my family's there."
"I don’t think you've got anything to worry about at all Steve, you haven't done anything to pee anyone off," David replied.
Later in the kitchen, Steve said that he was feeling "weird", before David agreed they were in an unusual situation that was now out of their hands.
"It's a weird sensation, I feel sick. I didn't think I'd be feeling like this, I tell you that," Steve added.
"I've been ready to go the past three weeks," David revealed. "It hasn’t been going, it's been staying! Ready to go, ready to go, getting ready to see my family - then deflated that you're in."
Steve stated that he hoped they both reached the finals, as he would find it hard to say goodbye to the minster if he stayed, knowing that David would be leaving to see his children. He then listed his ideal finalists as David, Corin, Mario, Josie and himself.
"I don’t think you'll go, I think you won't," Corin said to Steve later, after noticing that he looked worried. "Even if you do, you'll go out, be absolutely cheered, and then be in Centre Parcs next week with the kids."
"I don’t know what it's like to be like this. It’s the first time isn’t it? The first time to get any public opinion of yourself," Steve explained, before adding that it was probably partial "excitement".
"It has been an emotional thing, I never thought for a minute I'd be like this about this fucking place."
Corin reminded Steve that he had completed his objective of entering the house and reaching the final week.
Speaking to David in the bedroom later, she said: "Poor Steve, he was close to tears then."
