The housemates woke up to their 'Perfect Day' this morning, and received breakfast in bed served by former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Anthea Turner.

As a reward for yesterday's 'Just Say Yes' task, the housemates were promised a 'Perfect Day' from Big Brother. After being woken by music in place of the usual alarm, the housemates were shocked to see Anthea Turner enter the room with a serving trolley filled with breakfast treats.

After introducing herself to all of the housemates, Anthea proceeded to serve fruit juice and coffee to the group as she congratulated them on reaching the final. Handing David his glass, she said: "I love your new hair cut now! Yes, I've been watching!"

Walking over to Andrew and Mario's bed she told them: "You look so cute together!" Andrew quickly clarified: "We're not together!" as the housemates laughed. As Anthea handed plates of fruit, danishes and muffins around, David observed: "This is a little bit surreal!"

With the housemates asking how long she would be in the house, Anthea replied: "I'm staying with you for a little while, just to make sure your day starts off well." She then asked: "What did you do last night, was it fun? I didn't get to watch last night, fill me in!"

She told them: "It's been a joy watching you all. I did the very, very first Celebrity Big Brother, but it was completely different. It was only a week, there was no E4, and it was all for charity. But it was absolutely fabulous."

Still stunned, JJ said: "I can't believe it, it has started perfect. Breakfast in bed served by Anthea Turner!"

Noticing that Josie hadn't eaten the kiwi from the fruit salad, Anthea hurriedly cleared it away, saying that she didn't want her to have anything she didn't like on her plate. David quipped: "She's not a fan of kiwis, she prefers an Australian in the morning."

Just before leaving, Anthea produced a pink envelope and read out: "Housemates, today Big Brother is treating housemates to a perfect day. Housemates will be treated to breakfast in bed, followed by a range of treats throughout the day. Big Brother recommends housemates enjoy their breakfasts and slip into something comfortable for the second instalment. Love, Big Brother."

As Anthea wheeled the trolley out towards the store room, the housemates applauded and shouted: "Thank you!"

David told the others: "I used to think that she was the most gorgeous woman on TV." Meanwhile, a bemused Josie laughed and asked: "Did that just happen?"
