After speculating on the sofa what the next part of their treat day could be, Big Brother announced to the housemates that the bedroom was open for "all housemates starting with Josie to enjoy a make-up session".
"I'm sorry for the state of the room," Mario said, on meeting Becky Boo, their new make-up artist.
Becky soon started getting to work on Josie's look. "Oh these bags, I've never known anything like it. I looked like I'd been punched in the face the other day," the Bristolian complained.
Meanwhile, David speculated that housemates might be receiving special beauty treatments because Channel 4 photographers were about to enter the house for press photographs. However, the other housemates refuted the idea.
After leaving the Diary Room, Mario reported: "They asked me how I'd feel about having make-up on me, I said, 'It’s not my thing but I'll give it a go'... I want really dramatic make-up like a clown or something.
"I want to look like a bug - I'm gonna ask her to make me look like a bug."
Instead, the former mole settled for a black, glitter star over his eye for his turn with Becky.
Housemates were also treated to evening wear from Big Brother. While the men were provided with tuxedos, Josie received a purple maxidress and jewellery set.
"This just gets better and better, [doesn't] it? I didn’t think we'd be getting this," JJ said.
"Can I use this as my eviction outfit?" David added, in his tuxedo.
After the group finished getting ready, they began to speculate what this evening's activities could be.
"To drink as much champagne as possible?" Mario suggested hopefully.
