Sam Pepper makes Twitter impact

Former Big Brother housemate Sam Pepper has made an instant impression online by gaining over 30,000 followers on Twitter.

After creating an account on Saturday evening, the graffiti artist has built up a large fan base, which includes Premier League footballer Rio Ferdinand.

Speaking on one of his tweets, the 21-year-old seemed surprised to have gained such a following. "Can't believe I'm so close to 30,000 followers! Are you sure you guys have the right page?"

Despite only spending 21 days on the show, the prankster has amassed over double the amount of followers that former winners Brian Belo and Sophie Reade have.

Another evictee from Friday, Australian John James, has managed to gain over 20,000 followers so far.
