Housemates have been treated to a party to mark the final night of Big Brother 11, complete with canapés, alcohol, music and the 'Tombola of Love'.

After the final five contestants rebelled against Big Brother out of boredom earlier, Andrew, David, JJ, Josie and Mario were excited to be allowed into the main part of the house. As they tucked into a selection of party snacks and drinks, they discovered a tombola had been placed in the living room.

"That was the exact same tombola that Davina picked me from on launch night," Mario explained to the group. Big Brother then requested that one housemate read instructions for tonight's task.

David read: "Congratulations on making it to the final. To celebrate Big Brother has provided canapés and alcohol. Housemates have also been given a tombola. Housemates should spin the tombola before taking a question card and following the instructions on it." He added: "Housemates should answer every question."

After deciding to go in reverse alphabetical order, Mario removed the first question card and read: "Give a speech about what your experience in the Big Brother house has meant to you."

Addressing the group, Mario said: "This experience has been indescribable for me. It's been everything to me, it's basically saved me in a lot of ways. I was in a very dark place, a very sad place at the start of the year. It's helped me find myself again, and I can't thank you enough for it."

Josie then took the stage, saying: "Being in the Big Brother house is something to tell the grandkids. Not many people can say that they've had a meal 40 feet in the air." She then listed the highlights of her stay, including Sunday's 'Perfect Day' and shooting a music video. "I feel so appreciative for being here and being chosen and it's been a really, really brilliant experience," she added.

JJ told his fellow finalists: "I'm just really pleased I got to be in here, and to share it with you guys makes it even more special." David followed, saying: "I took a massive risk coming in here, but I don't regret it and I wouldn't change a moment of it." Andrew proceeded to thank the group for their warmth and support. "However sad this may sound, this experience really has been the best experience of my life."

The group continued to answer questions about their stay in the house, as Josie named the 'wall sticking' task as her favourite moment "because we nearly murdered Ben", and JJ labelled Rachael as the "sexiest housemate", saying: "She was just amazing to look at."

When the group were asked which housemate changed the most during their time in the house, David and Mario both praised Andrew's transformation during the past seven weeks. "It's been really amazing to watch him over the past six or seven weeks grow and get more bold and confident," David said. Mario agreed, adding: "It's almost like he came into the house a boy and tomorrow will leave a young man."

Former housemate Ben was praised for his humour and uniqueness by Andrew, Mario and David. The minister named Nathan as the ex-housemate he would most like to have in the final with him.

After being asked the question: "What was your best moment of the series?" Josie told the group: "The best moment in the series for me was when my housemates thought I deserved a ticket to the final. For them to pick you, and everyone's sat there, you think, 'Oh they must think I'm alright then'. I just felt so happy and so wanted and so loved. It was a lovely feeling."

Big Brother then played music into the house, as the housemates enthusiastically danced at their last party. A unanimous cheer went up when the five finalists were called to the Diary Room together.
