Mario has been angered by housemates' criticism of his nominations.

Following David's earlier decision to view their imminent departure as a chance to discuss their votes, the final five decided to confess all regarding who they named to be evicted during their time in the house.

Although there were several surprising revelations during the discussion, such as Andrew's past vote for Mario and Josie's claim that she picked David five times, it was the ex-mole who came in for the most criticism, after he admitted that he had nominated close friends Ben, Corin and Josie over the course of the series.

"[You can] put me up but don’t come to me afterwards and go, ‘Me and you, lockdown buddies’," the Bristolian criticised.

"You nominated me twice [then] came up and asked me for neck massages instead," Mario hit back.

David then incorrectly stated that he had always 'face-swapped' somebody that he originally nominated whenever he won a 'Save & Replace' task and appeared gobsmacked when Mario revealed that this wasn't the case with him.

When Mario further explained that he had nominated Josie the week he 'face-swapped' David in order to spare the dwindling female housemates, the minister argued: "[You say,] ‘I wont face-swap them because of chivalry', but you’ll go in the Diary Room and put them up for eviction."

As JJ then branded him a snake and Josie argued that he only chose David as his replacement because he was scared of John James, Mario finally snapped.

"Screw you all, I don't know why you're trying to penalise me, you're all snakes in the grass. You can see it however you want, you can hate me 'til the end of time, I don’t care. You don’t have to like me."

As Mario stormed out the bedroom, David continued: "At the end of the day I think what he did was wrong... if he could do it in the Diary Room, you gotta do it outside.

"He's got to be honest. I do like the mole but I think the way he goes about things are a bit devious."

The Welsh housemate later came to find Mario and assured him that all of the group had been joking around during the nominations conversation.

Andrew also took Mario aside and apologised for nominating him in the past, but the fashion designer clarified that it wasn't Andrew's revelation that had angered him the most.

"I'm just sick of every time a nomination comes up I always get it stuck in the neck because of that stupid face-swap.

"That’s the one thing that gets me in the house, everyone has to have an opinion on something," he continued. "Rather than keep their opinions to themselves, which are often uneducated in the first place, they have to blare it out at the loudest possible level."

Mario then wandered around the garden alone, muttering that he was "so sick of this" before returning to the house to get ready for the finale.
