The retail sales assistant had aimed for the prize during the task, which required housemates to throw balls at squares marked up with different prizes. He passed on messages for Rebeckah from her in-house love interest Aden Theobald.
"There's been a few tears, but he said, 'The day I get out of here is the day I want to start [up a] relationship'," Tom told Rebeckah to her visible delight.
The two then broke off their meal almost immediately as Rebeckah tried to speak to Aden through the spare room door. As she started to tell him what would happen if he got into "another girl's bed" while in the house, Big Brother cut short their conversation by sending the rest of the contestants to the bedroom.
Rebeckah also asked Tom to tell Aden to stay away from fellow housemate Anton Murphy. When pressed by the 20-year-old about why she does not like Anton, she replied: "I'm not allowed to say, but you'll see when you get out."
Aden had tried to win the date with Rebeckah during the task, but instead won his bus fare home.
Aaron Allard-Morgan won a cuddly toy, while Anton won a £5 book token. Jay McKray's prize was a bunch of bananas, and Louise Cliffe won a romantic night for two in the spare room.
Faye Palmer's sister Jem - who entered the house on Friday after Mark Henderson chose to leave the competition - won a one-hour gym session in the garden.
Alex Rose also 'won' the confiscation of all cups, crockery and cutlery from the house.
