Big Brother 13: Public to vote in wildcard housemate

Big Brother 13 has begun by announcing the three wildcard picks, with viewers to vote on who enters the house.

The potential contestants were announced and confirmed on tonight's Big Brother: The Auditions, after the wildcard entry system was first rumoured last month.

The wildcards were requested to perform tasks judged by Jamie East and former Big Brother contestants, including eating raw onions and wearing lycra 'shock suits', before being narrowed down to three.

Big Brother 13 wildcard housemate Rebecca

First up is Rebecca, a bubbly 19-year-old student, currently in her first year of drama college. Rebecca has only had one major relationship, claiming she has only ever fancied one boy - her current boyfriend.

She claims that she'd like to be a leader in the Big Brother house to "get them all ship shape". She also reckons she'll be the house gossip, claiming: "I'm a nosy bitch!"

Next up is Bhavesh, a hospital receptionist from Mumbai who now lives in Bournemouth. He is in a civil partnership, and would like to use his stint on Big Brother as a way of changing the mindset of fellow Indians about being gay.

In the house, he reckons he would be "extremely glamorous and very high maintenance", and feels he has an "80-95% chance of winning".

Big Brother 13 wildcard housemate Anthony

Finally there's Anthony, a 33-year-old writer, model and actor from Cardiff. He writes fantasy e-books, while also working as a gothic/alternative model. He also plays flute "in a kind of jazz style" in an electro band.

Anthony anticipates that in the Big Brother house he'll be "sleeping in and staying up late", claiming that he occasionally talks to himself, adding: "Sometimes you find yourself vocalising thoughts, there's no doubt about that."
