This week's Big Brother task is a 'No Laughing Matter' challenge for the 16 housemates.
A furry octopus creature, who carried squirty silly string, entered the compound to give the rules for the task.
Shievonne Robinson read the outline for the challenge, which is based around the housemates not laughing for the next two days.
Smirks, titters, guffaws, LMAOS, ROFLS and MEGALOLS will all be included by Big Brother and any time a housemate does laugh, the housemates will incur a fail.
If they fail more times than the number that Big Brother has predicted in a sealed envelope, they will fail the task and have to deal with budget shopping for the week.
Arron Lowe and Chris James are the two housemates facing possible eviction on Friday, June 15.
Big Brother continues tonight (June 12) on Channel 5.
